I work in sales, and am constantly on the road. I have selfishly used Yelp for years, to find all of the food that is worth my time. Last night, my Fiancé and I checked out Art, based on the reviews we found here. This is the first restaurant that has made me want to write a review. I love this place. The Munch burger is, without doubt, the best burger I have ever had. The sushi is excellent. I am an admitted Mac n cheese fiend, and it is fantastic here. The sushi, both traditional, and also unexpected rolls, incredible. From fried chicken, to pulled pork, to the good old philly rolls. Not a bad bite was had. Last night, our bartender was Courtney, and she was incredibly attentive. Daniel, the executive chef, came over as the night wound down, and they even reserved us a place at the bar for tonight so we could see the Ravens pre-season game. Tonight, with Tyler and Dan behind the bar, the service was impeccable again. I have to say, a lot of restaurants do a few things right. This place hits on all cylinders. Go now. You won't regret it.

I would come back again only if I was with people who didn't eat sushi and I was craving it. Def. a great concept for those who like myself...happen to be in a relationship with their other half being of the not eating sushi/seafood type and are all about the burgs. My twin sister also happened to find and marry such a man, ha! So when I was visiting, sans my non sushi eating bf, and was with my sister and her non sushi eating husband (and baby!) we decided to scope out this joint for an early lunch since we had baby in tow. Def. a spot to go with children on the older side who can sit in a regular chair - the seating is cramped and while they have highchairs, with the car seat it totally blocked the exit between the tables and we found ourselves having to shuffle baby around, fearful of waking her. Thank goodness it wasn't crowded, or we'd have a serious problem with where to put the baby. So let's get to it... Service: Just okay - we came just at lunch hour opening. Our server never smiled, nor introduced herself. While she wasn't quite rude, she wasn't exactly welcoming, but did her job. Environment: Cramped tables (booths comfier) decor was nice, however the bathrooms smelled horrible! It was super warm in the restaurant, again probably because they just opened and the air con was just kicked on. Music level acceptable. Food: Fried Mozz Wontons - the tomato jam rocked Tempura Battered Onion Rings - huge serving, but greeaasssyyyy Seaweed Salad - standard food service product, they jazzed it up with some lemon cream. Remington Burger - HUGE, sloppy, but tasty. Cooked and seasoned well (from the bite I tried) The fries were sad and limp, not crunchy at all. American Gothic Roll - tasty and I would order again, but rolled horrible and not tight enough. The sauce they added on the top made the rice fall right off the roll. Shrimp Tempura Roll - standard, and once again not rolled tightly enough, rice flying everywhere Rainbow Roll - rolled a bit better, tasted okay but ordinary. Didn't try any of the crazy mac n cheese rolls...fried this or that roll - we left that to the tourists. And with that said......I'm firmly on the stance this place is totally for the tourists, of course given the area of MYR it's in/on the "boardwalk" (cement-walk) I'm not surprised. I repeat it's a great concept, and I would come here again if in the same situation (non sushi eaters)

We've been eyeing this place for some time now, and finally made the jump to check it out with some family who was in town. Just to TLDR this review, it's great, and we'll definitely be back. Now onto the details. We headed here to start a night out or bar hopping and parked across the street. The lot charges 10$ for the entire night, or 5$ for two hours, but if you're going to ART, they take 5$ off your all night parking on your check. We opted for the all night option, just for comfort since we went to another bar down the boardwalk after dinner. The food here was great! We got the loaded sweet potato fries which were super good, and split them for the table. I got the chicken sandwich that had bacon, mozzarella sticks, and tomato relish on it. I couldn't turn down fried mozz on a chicken sandwich. It was well worth it and tasted amazing. The service we had here was great, and the atmosphere is really cool. Every little bit you see them make some nitrogen drinks and the whole bar fogs up, it's pretty neat. All in all i hope some time we come we can sit out on the patio, but otherwise, I couldn't have had a better time here. We'll be back often.

Great burgers! It's apparently a pretty new restaurant, but it deserves all the praise it's been getting. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun, they have art for sale on the walls, lots of unique burger options along with sushi options. I got The Dali and it was really good and I love their "artistic display" of serving your burger (see pic). The Dali had fried pickles on it which I love and an avocado ranch sauce, but the only thing that kind of bummed me out was the burger is fresh grass fed beef which was amazing, but fell apart a bit and was it was difficult to keep it in the bun. I also did sweet potato fried which were also great. The menus were neat and were on a wooden artist palette (I should have taken a pic!) and they have a liquid nitrogen bar which was interesting. It's also on the beach so you could sit on the patio, but we couldn't because it was pouring rain. Overall I look forward to going back next time I'm in MB and trying another burger!!

Firecracker shrimp was my favorite part of our meal... And the nitrogen drinks. Everyone loved the burgers... Rembrandt, Dali, and the Remington... I was not a big fan of the fried chicken roll... It was good but just too many carbs for me... Not enough flavor. But over all an absolutely fabulous place. Wonderful wait staff!!! Very friendly. Next time I will sit outside, so we can eat and see the ocean too!

Great place to eat with superior drinks. Sushi is good and pretty good portions. The decor is great. Art on the walls for purchase. Creative graphic design on menus and drink menu. Our particular waitress was mediocre but the sous chef personally visited our table and was extremely hospitable. Neat little dive in the middle of the MB strip. We return.

Wonderful sushi. The executive chef, Will Bates, creates beautiful presentations and it tastes great too. The drinks prepared with liquid nitrogen make for interesting and tasty delights. We had the Michelangelo burger and I told Will what I liked and he made things I enjoyed. Not your normal sushi bar. It was great watching Will create. We enjoyed it so much we plan to go back tomorrow. One of the best sushi places I've been. I highly recommend Art's.

Fantastic lunch at ART Burger Sushi Bar! Our group of 6 really enjoyed our lunch here. The variety of burgers is creative. All of them were delicious - from basic beef burgers to lamb to seared tuna. Great prep, attractive presentation and delectable! We threw in the chef's choice special roll so we could all sample the sushi - it was GREAT! Caitlyn took great care of us (very familiar with the menu and beverage options, moved us inside quickly when rain threatened, great personality!). We stayed at a fully equipped condo, so we chose very carefully the few excursions dining out. ART Burger was absolutely a great choice. Will definitely return on our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

My husband and I have been to great sushi restaurants all over the states. We looked to Yelp to find places worthwhile to eat during our Myrtle Beach visit. We didn't try the burgers just the specialty rolls and out of the box sushi. The specialty rolls was way below average, the pulled pork and fried chicken roll was terrible. The mac and cheese that covered the chicken fried roll was gritty and no flavor. The only thing that we ordered that was decent was the blue crush beverage. My sons chicken tenders were way over battered. This place is way over priced as well, find a better place.

ART is a pretty awesome sushi/burger/bar+restaurant w/ friendly customer service. The drink menu has unique cocktails which I haven't seen at other bars in Myrtle Beach. They do not have a happy hour, but drinks are very reasonably priced. We sat at the bar, the atmosphere is pretty modern inside. The outside seating has a wonderful view of the ocean (it was very windy, so sat inside). I am usually not a fan of restaurants where you can see the chefs preparing/cooking your food (reminds me of a Waffle House, or a local establishment - Sam's Corner). The area seemed very cluttered, but appeared to have clean prepping surfaces. The burger was amazing, had THE DALI, it was juicy and made perfectly. The house-cut fries were okay, season w/ old bay (?) just a little soggy. The sushi was okay (I've been to many sushi places outside of SC so may be a little harsh on the critique) they did offer a variety of good rolls though, quick prep. The shrimp tempura roll was good. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for burger and cocktails! Sit outside if you can.

From the nitrogen drinks, to the homemade ice cream, the whole experience was stellar. Real knowledgable, friendly staff helped direct what we wanted to eat. The GM came by during the meal to ensure that everything was on par, and gave us a little history of the restaurant, which also showcases local art on a weekly basis. The sushi was terrific. Keep up the good work!

Okay, the waiter was honest and easy-going. He was also super patient. The draft beer is SUPER CHEAP. Heated sake is amazing, and really affordable. The onion rings are absolutely flawless, and also really cheap. I got the Dali with the house fries. And it is flawless. Thw fries have a great kick and the burger is also flawless. The California rolls are superb. I was super impressed by the experience.

Have been here before. Their sushi is excellent, but this time we tried the burgers. They are just as wonderful. Perfectly cooked to what we requested and so good. We will definitely come here many more times for the burgers and the sushi.

Don't miss this place! The food is outstanding! And unique!! I have never in my life seen fried chicken sushi! Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was wonderful and the restaurant is so fun! I would definitely recommend this place!

This place doesn't fit in here at all and that is a very good thing. So many things had me saying over and over again to my friends Andrea and Jason, "this place is so cool." The menu is creative. There's a unique twist sushi section (think cheeseburgers and fried chicken). They feature art from different local artists. You can watch bartenders make liquid nitrogen drinks. We were starving and wanted to try a little bit of everything. We got the fried chicken roll. Let's be honest, anything that is covered in mac and cheese is delicious. We also got two regular rolls. A server walked by with the fried cheese wontons, so of course we had to get those as well. I'm so glad we did. We were all stuff, but felt we had no choice but to get a burger. We decided on just the good old fashioned cheeseburger. It was almost too pretty to eat when it arrived. We divided it into four pieces. Holy. what a meal. I was beyond full. I had the chai latte martini. Okay, that's a lie. I had two chai latte martinis. With the liquid nitrogen, it was like having dessert. Andrea had the bananas foster. It's the perfect after dinner "drink." Our server was really nice. They use ipad type looking devices to take the orders and send them to the bar/kitchen. This is a must go to spot in Myrtle Beach. My friend Jason actually made three trips here during his week at the beach. It's definitely at the top of my list for when I return.

This place was pretty good ! it wasn't too crowded when I went so service was prompt. My boyfriend and I had a very good waiter who helped us with drinks and asked if we had questions. First he let us know about the liquid nitrogen drinks which we got. They were super delicious and tasted like a smoothie or sorbet. We also ordered the sushi which tasted fresh but nothing special. Now onto the burgers, they looked prettier than they tasted. They weren't bad but they weren't amazing. Prob will come back cause I was pleased with the service. Beware, when making anything with liquid nitrogen they add 2-3 dollars in addition to the normal drink price.

Really good food, cool view, great liquid nitrogen drinks. The fries with avocado ranch were awesome! We had a few types of sushi that everyone loved. They were also very accommodating for a member of our family with Celiac, who needs real gluten-free food prepared safely for such a severe allergy. The waitress suggested items she knew were gluten-free and checked in the kitchen about some others. The liquid nitrogen drinks are delicious. The effect makes the drinks almost creamy, like a sorbet. I didn't even see it prepared (we sat outside) and I loved it! I got the Beach Portrait and it was so delicious and stayed mostly frozen until our meals came out. It was finished by then anyway :) Service was okay... we had to ask for some things that should have been brought out automatically, like napkins. Other than that, wait staff was nice and service was quick!

Are here for dinner while visiting Myrtle Beach last week. We were very hungry and split four rolls between the two of us in addition to one of the nitrogen drinks! The sushi was really great. They had a variety of traditional options and then a few "artistic" options which we did not try such as the cheeseburger roll (though I'm sure would have been fun). We ordered a dragon roll, rainbow roll, the beach roll (a tad spicy, but a good spicy), and the umakase roll. The umakase roll is a roll that the sushi chef makes up on the spot. We thought it would be fun to try and it turned out to be our favorite roll of the night!! I am giving 4 stars because it was very good, and well worth going to however, I would have preferred real crab in the sushi rather than the imitation crab.

Outstanding! You wouldn't know it from the street or coming in, but these guys know what they're doing. Highlights: - amazing burgers. What do I mean? Not just the fancy names. When they ask you how you want your burger cooked, they know exactly how to prepare it. Combination of flavors are outstanding. We got the monet and the munch. - great drinks. You gotta try the nitrogen cocktails. Comes out like a sweet sorbet dessert.

Came for the art, stayed for the food!! What an interesting and great idea for a restaurant! Sushi and burgers fit together very well. It was a new and refreshing twist to American-Japanese style of eatery! On top of the delicious food (burger rolls, fried chicken rolls, and wonton cheese sticks) we had items from their nitrogen bar!! Alcoholic drinks in the form of gelato! SUPERB! A++++ place for taste and originality!

This was my favorite restaurant on my recent trip to myrtle beach!! The food, atmosphere, and service were all perfect!! My mom and I each tried one of their frozen nitrogen drinks, so smooth, so nasty, and really interesting. Definitely a must try if you're coming here. This place has fantastic sushi!! Super flavorful and great presentation. I've tried a lot of different sushi places and this one is definitely at the top of my list! The burgers!! I'm a pescatarian so it's hard to find a really good meatless burger. Art does it right, it was so moist and flavorful! Everyone I came with enjoyed their burger and kept talking about it even days after we left myrtle beach!! This place is definitely a must try while in myrtle beach!!

Great new place to eat on the beach. Very different but the whole experience was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was fabulous. I got the ahi tuna over a seaweed salad to start with and the fried chicken roll and the BBQ roll. These two rolls were called outside the box on the menu. The fried chicken roll was topped with macaroni and cheese and the BBQ roll had a kale slaw in it. Both of these had a BBQ sauce drizzled over the top of them. There was also an artist there painting. Such a fun place and we will be back!

Loved it. Friendly staff, great food. Very vegetarian friendly (Gothic roll, create your own roll, falafel and black bean burgers). The Art House fries were amazing. Children's menu well priced and well portioned. My husband had one of the fusion rolls (fried chicken) and loved it. He was surprised how filling it was. We'll definitely be going back.

We almost didn't try this place due to one review, but so glad we did. Food was delicious. We had a Salmon Crunch Roll, Munch Burger and The Dali Burger. Everything was delicious. They also have a $2 liquor from their 4PM - 7PM Happy Hour. Our friends also enjoyed their food. They also have alcohol with liquid nitrogen. We tried the one that's a Reese Cup flavor and it was good.

A very original place! As we entered, my husband was slightly spooked by the thought of sushi and burgers being in the same restaurant. But he got over it quickly. We sat outside on the deck and had a great, quiet view of the ocean. I got the blue crush cocktail and upgraded to the liquid nitrogen option. I LOVED it. It was a tad pricey, but it was a large drink/slush? Idk what to call it. But you have to come to this place to get one! We split a Carolina pulled pork roll, which we both liked. Very different! My husband got a burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings. He said the burger was "okay", the onion rings were "awesome", and the BBQ sauce was "weird" haha! I got the beach roll, which was very fresh and slightly spicy, as it was topped with sriracha. Overall, if you want to try something original, this is the place to go!

This is a random, amazing place in Myrtle Beach. It sticks out amongst the lines or dive bars and typical American fare. Sushi and burgers isn't new to me - there is a burger/sushi place in Orlando I've been to as well and loved so I was excited to come here. The food is very yummy and interesting. We got a variety of things: the art house fries, the fried chicken roll, the Carolina pork roll, and the Bond roll. The art house fries were ok - fries were a bit soggy, the cheese and garlic sauces were great though. The fried chicken roll was a favorite of everyone - personally I found the rice + mac and cheese a bit overwhelming on soft/starchy texture, but the chicken was good and cooked very well. Mac and cheese was a bit buttery for me - not very cheesy. The Carolina pork roll was my favorite - yummy BBQ sauce, the cole slaw added a nice sushi-like texture (like the crunch in a California roll), and the pork was good (albeit a bit under seasoned on its own, but great in the sushi.) The Bond roll was ok - good ingredients, but simply just not the freshest/best sushi roll I've had in my life. It was a bit forgettable. Service was slow for 4 of us. It took us a very, very long time to get the food. Like over an hour. We watched multiple tables of 2-3 that came in after us get served before us. That was really the only truly disappointing part of our meal was that in a restaurant with a fair amount of open tables, it took forever to get food. Also watched some of that food sit there for awhile before getting to us. Definitely a good place with interesting ideas and if you haven't had the burger-sushi thing yet, stop in and try it!

I think ART Burger has the best burger in Myrtle Beach. I've been to ART Burger 3 or 4 times with different groups, and each time the restaurant has impressed. First of all, the theme is unique:The different food items are named after different artists or pieces of art, and there is also art posted all over the walls. Plus, it's definitely different to serve hamburgers and sushi--in fact, you can order a burger roll, which is hamburger, cheese, fried onion straws, and steak sauce rolled in rice; you can order other unique rolls with fried chicken or barbecue. I prefer the more conventional sushi, but all of it is fresh, and the portions are large. The burgers are cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The fries are fresh cut, as are the onion rings. I haven't tried anything made with liquid nitrogen, but the mixed drinks are good. The prices are reasonable. My husband and I always bring guests to ART because it's different from the other restaurants in town--it's eclectic and interesting and sort of upscale yet totally accessible.

Finally there's a cool place to get cocktails and good food in Myrtle Beach! It has an eclectic selection of burgers and sushi, but you can't go wrong with anything. Order a liquid nitrogen frozen cocktail or beer. The cocktails come out like a sorbet without being watered down. The beers come out with frozen heads that keep the beer cold as you sip. A must for your time in Myrtle Beach.

We are locals, not tourists and eat out at least 5 times a week. We post only if a place is exceptional, either bad or good. Unfortunately this place was bad for our visit. We went with a group for a birthday celebration. We had to pay to park. The area of town is not the best. We were seated directly across from the heat of the cooking area, resulting in a hot, sweaty uncomfortable seating. Having sweat pour down your forehead and ruin the ladies make up is not pleasant. In addition the location has only 1 seat in both the male and female toilets resulting in lines of people crowding in with people waiting to be seated. Also in regard to seats the booth seat is literally a board. Very hard very uncomfortable. The menu is printed in such a font that it was extremely difficult to read. The letters are all crunched in together. Poor choice of font. Our server, although trying hard to pretend to be nice, was so blatantly fake it was humorous. She was easily confused with the most simplistic questions. It was easier just not to ask too many. We ordered 4 starters and 4 sushi. The firecracker shrimp were tasty as were the onion rings. All of the 4 different types is sushsi was well below average. Not rolled well, freshness and taste of the contents very poor. We've had sushi worldwide and did not like any of the selections from this place. Paste taste and obviously rolled by an amateur staff. Anyone who really understands sushi can easily tell the difference. This is for people on vacation who say "hey who wants to try sushi?" This is over priced and we've had better sushi at grocery stores or at $9 all u can eat. They need to spend money on ingredients and a professional staff. We each ordered a hamburger and each was cooked as ordered. The bun and meat were excellent. One of our group had a burger with poor, sub standard produce. You should get an excellent tomato and lettuce for the price paid, especially in South Carolina. For desert we all had different drinks with their nitro gimmick. Each of our drinks was done with the nitro part but the effect only lasted 2-3 minutes. To top that off they serve the over $10 top shelf drink with a cheap plastic spoon. Really people? None of us enjoyed them but I'm sure a sunburned vacationer will love it. This is a great place for unsuspecting tourists to visit who will think its good. But you can't fool the people who live here....so locals, stay away. You will end up being a sweaty mess, sit on a board, get fake smiles, grocery sushi, lousy produce, weak over rated drinks and not be able to get in the bathroom. Oh and overpay. Way way over pay. Tourists, enjoy!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. It was so good! We were seating quickly and our server, Sonia, was the best. All of her recommendations were amazing. We started with the firecracker shrimp. I wish I would have ordered a double. They were so yummy! Don't pass on get the nitro drinks. They were very good and something we had never had before. I was surprised that more people weren't sitting outside. We ordered 4 rolls including the one that's chef's choice. It was absolutely fantastic. We are going to try to fit in another meal at this place before we go home.

Truly a 4.5 rating but excellent burger! Very close to our favorite NYC burger. Got the Picasso burger and sushi. Whistler's Mother Roll and the American Gothic Roll. Both very good. I want to try more sushi. The only bad thing was we must've gotten the end of a batch of fries as they were mostly crumbs but otherwise we loved everything.

Great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. We had to pay to park there which was kind of sad. The food was good. I wouldn't say it was anything better than you could get somewhere else, but still, not bad. Prices were reasonable.

Amazing food!! Definitely a 5 star restaurant!! It started out slow - the hostess said we would get the next table, but then kept seating others before us. So we did wait an extra 10-15 minutes? But after that it was fantastic! We ordered the sweet potato fries for our appetizer. They were topped with blue cheese crumbs and a blue cheese sauce, with a few other ingredients. I ordered the special tonight and it was a smoked salmon roll. Super good! My friend got a fried chicken roll that was topped with Mac and cheese and bbq sauce! Amazing!!

Firecracker shrimp and dip are amazing. Sushi was fresh. Burger was very flavorful. If you only get one thing...make it a liquid nitrogen frozen drink. It makes any drink taste like drunken gelato. It's the best $3 add on to any drink you can get. I need to find a way to do this at home.

A little creativity goes a long way in a town not known for it. Myrtle Beach is, in a word, a safe food town. You know what you want, know what you are going to get, and will probably get too much of it. That's why going to ART Burger/Sushi Bar was so much fun. It's located right near the Sky Wheel, and at night this place can get pretty crazy, so be prepared to park (and pay) on the street. It will be worth your metered upcharge. Let's start at the front - local artists AT WORK creating and discussing their work, and more art on display and for sale. The menus are painter's palettes (although a few need an upgrade as the wood has worn away edges of the menu) and as you work your way to your seat, the skinny dining room is active with the sights, sounds and smells of a busy three pronged food monstrosity - an open kitchen, a full-blown sushi station, and toward the back, a full bar that is making treats with a twist of - wait for it - LIQUID NITROGEN! You can have the head on your beer frozen, the daquiri you were planning to drink solidified, or the ice cream or milkshake you were planning for dessert made into a fun and innovative concoction. We declined this time, but are looking forward to our return on this aspect of ART alone. Now to the food. The burgers are also works of art, each one coming with a vertical top bun with the house logo seared into it. I'd bristle at this shameless self-promotion if the burgers were nothing special, but I am happy to say that they are. We had beef, pork, and tuna selections, and all were cooked perfectly to order, my beef "Picasso" in particular just as good the next day (or at least the half I couldn't finish). Also, where else can you have sushi that is based on your favorite comfort foods, like fried chicken and macaroni and cheese or a barbecue sandwich? Fear not, sushi purists, the real stuff is good too. Besides getting one of THOSE tables (where the imbalance of the legs make you feel like you are eating on a fishing boat every time someone puts their elbow on the table) we were quite pleased with the service, the attentiveness to my son's allergies, and the quality of the food. We will definitely make ART a stop on our future visits to Myrtle Beach. So despite it's quirks, ART works, and the food makes ART truly come to life. A celebration of all things creative, ART Burger and Sushi Bar should make patrons happy for years to come.

Great burgers, great drinks and even better sushi. I got to hand it to these guys, things stated going sideways on a recent visit here in August and the GM and Head Chef stepped up and made thinks right. They were having trouble with the sushi rice and didn't want to send out sub par product - so they took the time to get a new batch. I was growing impatient. The waitress was incredible - understanding and polite and the right tone of apology. The manager offered us free drinks. When the sushi was presented - it looked delicious and tasted bold and fresh. I love sushi and would put ART in my personal top 5 And I'm talking Palm Springs to Vegas to NYC! Flavor Town baby! Fresh tuna, eel and amazing salmon. Things don't always go well in restaurants, and this hip little joint on the beach in "Old" Myrtle Beach made it all worth the wait. They EARNED my 5 Stars!

Wow. They have 'out of the box' sushi. I had the 'Burger Roll' (beef and fried onions wrapped in rice and cheese, topped with A-1 sauce. It was awesome. One daughter had the mango sushi and a seaweed salad and said both were excellent. Wife and other daughter both had burgers and said they were some of the best they had ever tasted. Wife got kale slaw and said it was very good. We will be back! p.s. Daughter who got the burger, it came with fries that were clearly homemade, like my mom got out the deep frier and cut the potatoes by hand. Nothing artificial here. Music and atmosphere are also great.

First thought walking in: pretty cool decor (even with the overpriced crappy paintings on the wall) Second thought: what is up with the uniform the waitresses have to wear?? Faded black dresses and tassel purses...? Umm what? I couldn't decide if it was tacky, inappropriate or just impractical. Then the appetizer comes.. $8 onion rings that are lower quality than the stands along the Main Street, the onion inside was raw. And what kind of tempura onion rings come with no dipping sauce?? The waitress acted bewildered when we asked for some. The burgers were okay, clearly a ripoff of BurgerFi but not as high of quality.

Great atmosphere, nitrogen frozen drinks, gluten free burger buns, GF soy sauce, gluten free fries!! Yes please! Can have a wait during busy times of the day, but they have a handy cell phone wait list system One of the latest, most popular new restaurants, per many locals!

We have a go to sushi place in myrtle but one person in our party was not a sushi person so we decided to try Art. We were so glad we did! The service was absolutely wonderful. The sushi options were great and so was the quality. For vegetarians the American Gothic roll was a very unique option (it has sweet potato and avocado) the burgers and fries were great as were the appetizers and then the homemade ice cream with alcohol and liquid nitrogen was fabulous! We had coconut and mint chocolate chip. Art also supports local artists by displaying their art for purchase and on monitors around the restaurant. All in all we were super happy and they had a kids menu and high chairs which for such a small place was a plus. It's also right on the water so if you sit on that end it has a nice view. We will be back for sure. I wish this was a franchise!

Hands down the best burger I have ever ate and I have downed a lot of burgers!!! The fries were also delicious, they were seasoned with some magical combo of spices that wasn't quite sweet but not spicy. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better I was informed about the nitrogen ice cream which was what I imagine ice cream in heaven tastes like. While it may always be "five o'clock somewhere" up the street, this place is where the real cheeseburger in paradise is located!

This place is an awesome find in Myrtle Beach! We have read many good reviews about it but were blown away with how truly amazing it was!! We had the shrimp appetizer and it was so so delicious, tons of flavor! I had the dragon roll and it was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had, which was crazy to me! My partner had the fried chicken roll and it was a ton of food but so delicious!!! This place rocks and we will totally be back on our next visit to MB, maybe even before we leave THIS time! Do recommend to anyone and everyone, beautiful place, AMAZING food! The service was fantastic as well. Prices are very reasonable.

This place is so cool!! Hubby and I were ready for a good meal and this place checked all the right boxes. I absolutely love that it offers a variety of foods: sushi, burgers and a hint of BBQ- um, yes please! The staff was so friendly and courteous throughout the experience. We ordered the spider sushi roll which was good. I just had to order from the "out of the box" section which is your non typical sushi roll. I ordered the "fried chicken roll" which was fried chicken wrapped in lettuce leaves topped with mac n cheese and BBQ sauce drizzle. OMG my arteries loved and hated me at the same time- its was phenomenal and a large serving too so remember that sharing is caring. Hubby ordered the Munch burger which had a beef burger patty AND roasted pork belly. It was SO tasty but a tad too greasy. I had the El Greco, which was a burger patty with cheese and chorizo- so tasty! also a tad too greasy. The bar is very inviting and you can watch the staff make really cool drinks and desserts, some involving liquid nitrogen so you also get a whiff of the cool smokey ambience from time to time. They have a small outdoor seating area facing the beach as well. The entire restaurant is decorated in pictures of famous paintings and stuff. I really really enjoyed eating here and I highly recommend it. Go with a hungry belly so you can order massive amounts of food like we did :)

The onion rings with veg. that are in season was really good. The asparagus was well seasoned with pepper and sea salt. The batter onion rings were good. The burger wrap wasn't what I thought it was but it was GREAT. You get to eat it with chop sticks, but it's best if you ask for a side of fries with it. The waiter is really great and knows his info about the food and the history of the items that they have. It's a nice twist to American and Japanese food. Would so come back. If you do go ask for Steven Pezzullo great server.

The food is all amazing. I ordered the Mediterranean falafel with tabbouleh and was very tasty. The presentation is beautiful. My husband ordered a side hummus platter and sushi! Overall, highly recommend. Excellent food.

Old meets new. Beautiful location, ample seating. very vibrant atmosphere with a modern twist. Local artwork on display upon entry and more famous pieces showing as you're sitting down on the screen. The food is unique with a youthful flair. Flavor profiles are spot on and to be blunt, delecious. Items we tried this visit were as follows. Tempura Battered onion rings Hamburger roll Rembrant burger Grilled asparagus Fire roasted corn Dali burger Fries Liquid nitrogen milkshake (chocolate) Pros Unique menu Atmosphere Food is delecious Cons One burger wasn't cooked throughly, but they offered to fix, milkshake had an unusual taste, but was ok. Final verdict is that I would definitely come back, do highly recommend this place. Place is simple, romantic, modern, and has a pretty impressive drink menu.

Very cool concept for a restaurant/bar/hangout. We arrived a little after 715 and there was a 45 minute wait. We waited because I was very excited to try this place out. We didn't have to wait a long time at all and the hostess was very nice and pleasant. The place was packed and lively. The wood accents and awesome changing light panels were really cool. It is a shotgun style layout so you go straight back. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll, fried chicken roll, burger roll, and a chicken sandwich called the Michelangelo. The shrimp roll was perfect. When places get fancy and try trendy things they can be lacking on the basics; not here. The fried chicken roll was the highlight. It had BBQ sauce and Mac and cheese on top. Wow. It was strange at first and it too me two bites to realize how awesome it was. So so good. Get it. The burger roll wasn't so great. The steak sauce was small in quantity but very strong in flavor. The beef was very dry and over-cooked. We only had one bite each of that one. The chicken sandwich was okay. The tomato jam was odd. The smell was very off putting. The taste by itself also was off putting and tasted kinda like feet. Now the sandwich as a whole wasn't so bad; the jam went great with all of the components together. The bacon was burnt and the chicken was dry. We only ate half of that. We got the Piece of Art. Amazing drink. We got the drink made with liquid nitrogen. It turned into a slushy like drink but as it melted it made every flavor 10 times stronger. Very much worth the $10. Everything was very fairly prices. The waitress was very nice. Their "uniforms" were solid blank dresses and tights. It was very classy and simple. The guys looked like they were from Star Trek. Except for the bartender. He looked good. We will be back.

Felt like this place was a little overrated. Very good: Prices were reasonable on all menu items. Rainbow roll Ahi tuna lollipops (not sure why it's called that but it was delicious) Servers Cocktails Fair: French fry appetizer Dynamite shrimp appetizer Disappointing: Burgers (ordered 6 different burgers and they were not great) Fries Wouldn't likely come back.

All of the food was beyond good. Upscale without being snobby. Can't wait to go back & try the regular sushi. My liquid nitrogen cocktail was the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. It was like smooth liquor sorbet and so delicious I could not stop smiling. Boyfriend Ordered The Art Burger $11 Ground Beef Patty, Thickly Sliced Bacon, Marinated Red Onion, Blue Cheese Crumbles, and Walnut Chutney -side of super crispy huge onion rings I got The Dali $9 Ground Beef Patty, Fried Pickles, Avocado Ranch, Lettuce and Tomato I substituted a turkey burger patty. My side was house cut French fries. We ordered Fried Chicken Roll 9 Crispy Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, with BBQ Sauce As a devilish appetizer, but due to a backup I'm the kitchen we got it all at once. The waitress sweetly apologized & It was so good we didn't even care. We sat outside in bench seating. My boyfriend is a pretty laid back guy & never raves about anything... This place he hAs been. So much amazing food that we could not even finish. Go here. Do it.

My girlfriend wanted sushi on her 30th birthday. I made a reservation and when I asked what they did for birthdays they said we would get two nitrogen drinks and lava cake. Upon arriving the server and manager had no idea what I was taking about. The manager apologized and said that shouldn't have been offered. He send over two "birthday shots" that had no alcohol in them but at least he tried. The food was great. Firecracker shrimp to start. Cheeseburger roll, tuna roll and spicy shrimp for dinner. Cheese burger roll sounds crazy but try it. My birthday girl had two martini's and loved them. Server was very friendly. Couple of tvs to watch games if you want and they played good country music. We will definitely come back just be careful what they offer on the phone.

What a place! Got into town super late looking for somewhere good to eat and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. Not only was the good amazing but the atmosphere is cool and comfortable. I ordered a side Cesar salad as an appetizer, crunchy spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll and the monet sandwhich and it was all AMAZING. The side salad was delicious and bigger than I expected. They brought out a full rice bowl of lettuce, tomato, croutons, BACON, and the perfect amount of Cesar dressing them make in house. The spicy tuna roll was super fresh (I eat, probably an unhealthy amount of sushi on a daily basis so I can usually tell fresh fish from first sight) and with a good amount of fish drizzled with spicy mayonaise. Could have used more spicy mayo but that's just my personal preference. The shrimp tempura was steamed then friend shrimp so it still had the shell on it but again super fresh! The monet sandwhich. Oh my god it was good! It was bbq pulled pork, kale slaw and onion rings on a burger bun. Amazing. And HUGE. Boyfriend ordered the fried chicken roll and the Rockwell america burger medium well done with sweet potato fries and it was fantastic as well! Big portions will definitely not disappoint, especially late at night!

A nice find in the mess of Myrtle's Boardwalk. It's a very eclectic menu in my opinion but that's a good thing! You get out of the ordinary menu choices and most will not disappoint. I had there sushi appetizer which had unmistakably fresh cuts of fish. Also had the Rembrandt (confit) burger which was amazingly flavorful and juicy. They had liquid nitrogen drinks, which I saw, but wasn't brave enough to try - definitely will the next time around. I stuck with an artisanal drink, whose name escapes me, but was very, very good. Definitely a good find, and warrants a return visit when I'm back in Myrtle.

Could not ask for a better place to eat. From the ambiance, to the music, the food, and drinks. Everything was on point. The sushi clearly tastes so fresh, as do the burgers. Even if you don't like sushi, go here! They serve unconventional sushi. The Mac and cheese and fried chicken sushi is incredible, not to mention the regular sushi!!!! The El Greco burger was also impeccable! The drinks are strong and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The executive chef, Daniel, was incredibly personable and made sure everything was to our liking. He made sure to add the personal touch that other restaurants do not. Truly the best place to eat in Myrtle Beach!! It's the absolute best place to dine. Not a bad bite or sip in this restaurant! Highly recommended!!!!! So stop reading the reviews and just go!

  • Rochelle W.

They made a specialty roll for me (Volcano roll).. It was quite scrumptious. My boyfriend got a burger. He said it was pretty good. They could have gave more fries with the burger though. Seemed like a small portion, to me. The margarita was ok.. Nothing extra special. However, the next time I go I will try one of the nitrogen drinks.

Was in the area for vacation and this restaurant was recommended by staff at the hotel. Came for a late lunch after spending the morning at the beach. The staff was great and so was the frozen spiked chai tea... but the blackened ahi tuna sandwich was just ok. The cook on the blackened tuna was a little off in the middle, so it had a weird texture compared to what I'm used to. Maybe I should have gotten one of their creative sushi rolls instead. The fries were good and so were the sweet potato fries.

I had high hopes for this place. I read the reviews and figured I'd give it a try. I'm giving it two stars for a multitude of things, not only the food but yes a large percentage of my dislike is from the food. I was seated by the host, my waitress came over in a timely manner. They gave me the menus which are made of wood, so a cute element. She took my drink order and I ordered the hummus which also comes with three dipping sauces, all three were good but my favorite was the light oil consistency one. I had the waitress to take my pita bread back 3 times because it was too light in color and not browned enough. Then I ordered the chicken sandwich. On the menu, it describes the items that come on the sandwich as tomato jam, fried mozzarella and bacon. I get the food, and there's 3 whole mozzarella sticks on the burger. I tried the walnut chutney and it wasn't good, had a strong flavor that wasn't loving to my pallet. So I proceed to slice the sandwich into quarters, to better handle it. Upon doing so, I had to slice up the mozzarella sticks, take off bacon that was too fatty and not crispy at all and then noticed the bun was really soggy underneath. So I basically had to take apart the sandwich to consume it. The chicken was ever so dry! It looked and tasted extremely dry. The sweet potato fries wasn't cooked well to me and was a bit soggy and too salty with whatever seasoning they use. The waitress could tell I wasn't happy, so she came over and then sent the manager. I told him it would be nice if the menu said the burger comes with mozzarella sticks. It's supposedly their own version of fried cheese, but my take on fried cheese is just a lump fried on the stove top griddle, not deep fried into a stick. So there's some confusion there. I told the manager of all the things that were wrong. He took off the sandwich since I couldn't finish it. My advice to them, is to make the items less complicated. The look maybe pretty but you have to think of the overall consistency of taste and texture for the customer. Had the chicken been juicy, the cheese sticks simply melted or stove top cooked mozzarella and a good sauce, and the sweet potato fries a little more crispy and less seasoned, this meal would've been good. Overall it wasn't a home run for me. But the hummus was the best thing. Better luck next time!

Just ate here tonight and very impressed. My family all had drinks with the liquid nitrogen option. Fantastic! We all loved them. My 3 year old especially loved all the nitrogen "fog" as the waitress helped her pretend she was Elsa. The sushi was the best I've ever had. I had the "bond roll" and I could probably eat that every week for the rest of my life. My husband got the Munch burger and it was rich and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were also delicious. Food came out quickly, great service and family friendly. We will make this a definite visit with each trip we take down to Myrtle Beach. Wish we had a restaurant like this near where I live but it will give us something to look forward to on our visits!

It was my first time here and we had a great experience. I thought a burger and sushi was an interesting combo. The burgers and sushi were both very good. We had a larger crowd than expected but they were very accommodating and the staff were very friendly.

Who'd of thunk. A burger joint with Sushi, but man they knock it out of the park. Amazing burgers, quality and fresh Sushi, and the best service I've seen in a burger joint. A very high class and gourmet atmosphere in a burger joint. The decor is pretty sweet too.

Visited Art Sushi and burger for lunch. The concepts is there and the menu looks amazing at first glance. The burger combinations and special sushi look to die for on the menu. However, we had the cheeseburger sushi and the friend chicken sushi topped with Mac and cheese and they were so bland. We were so disappointed because they sounded so yummy. The regular sushi was good but wrapped so loosely it had to be eaten with a fork because it was falling apart. The burgers we ordered were very good as well as the salads. The service was really good and fast. All orders are placed via an I pad type device which is pretty cool! The outdoor seating that overlooks the boardwalk is certainly a plus!

Food was absolutely stellar. We tried the Bond Roll, and the Michelangelo with sweet potato fries. I highly recommend if you are in the area. Its a clever take on sandwiches and the sushi is some of the best I have ever had.

We came here because of good reviews and we're not disappointed. Overall cleanliness was notable for a beachfront spot, perhaps because they require shirt and shoes, something most riff raff beach goers lack. The food was quite good, too with several vegetarian options. The beach side of the place was warmer than the front, if you want to cool off. But sit on the beach side if you have kids - when they fill up thier nitrogen tanks it makes for a great side show the kids loved.

  • Kelly R.

Wow!! Here's the rundown: cool and casual atmosphere without the stuffiness you find from somewhat snooty places that know they got the goods. Nope, here the staff is down to earth, know their stuff and the restaurant fills up with a diverse group of tourist families and locals. None of the usual myrtle beach trash here. The food--fried chicken roll with mac n cheese. Nuff said. Yes they have your traditional sushi and pretty cool contemporary rolls but fried chicken and mac n cheese in a roll. Their burgers also looked fantastic. Tired of writing--need to eat--final word. Come here and eat good food and then drink liquid nitrogen cooled libations!!!

  • Michael B.

Where do I start with ART burger? The service? Amazing - they are a new restaurant so keep in mind there is a service learning curve but they are attentive and make you a priority. The food! HOLY BURGER HEAVEN! My go to is the munch - you won't regret it. The sushi - obviously made to order but the combinations (try the pulled pork roll!) also make sure to see Chris behind the bar. He's spot on with the drinks - and if you're feeling adventitious get something made with the liquid nitrogen. It's a must with limited seating - call ahead if possible.

I created a yelp account for this place! Long story short; an inventive and tasty menu served by a friendly, informative, and attractive staff. Oh and liquid nitrogen! I recently spent the memorial day weekend in Myrtle Beach with a group of friends for a bachelor weekend. We had a great time despite not realizing it was "Bike Week". Once the events of the weekend died down we were looking for a nice dinner to cap off our weekend and boy did we find the right place in ART! It was a slower night and there were playoff hockey and basketball games so we opted for seats at the bar. The bartender Mike obliged and started us off with some healthy cocktails, the signature sake cocktails were great! We started with some sushi rolls and a spicy shrimp tempura app. Chef Natasha's sushi was on point and the shrimp was amazing. For dinner I went with some southern twists on Japanese cuisine. The chicken dumplings and a Carolina bbq "sushi roll" both were pulled off perfectly. We were having such a good time we stuck around for more drinks and Brooke and Mike gave us a demo of the liquid nitrogen and the manager walked us through the design of the building and the local art they had on display . It was a great time. Definitely recommend. Thanks guys!

One of the coolest bars I've ever been to. Went back three times while on vacation. The beach paradise drink with liquid nitrogen is awesome!!! Whatever drink you get be sure to do the nitrogen option because it is so unique and amazing! Would go back again!

Really cool, casual place with great food and service. I had the Dragon and Breach rolls and both were delicious with great presentation. Others in our party had the burgers and they were great too. The fries were delicious! Not just salt...whatever's on them is worth having again and again. It's located in a small-ish store front and the GPS had trouble with the address, but they more than made up for it with the great food. We even had a child with us and the Mac and cheese for him was worth eating for even an adult!

Awesome little place! Sushi is to die for! The burgers are nice and juicy. The mojitos are sensational! Plus the liquid nitrogen drinks are an amazing touch that helps this place stand out. Nice patio right on the boardwalk. Very friendly staff and fun environment.

My husband, son and I went here, because I wanted sushi and they were in the mood for burgers, so PERFECT. The atmosphere was great, the wait staff was super friendly and attentive, and most importantly, the food was great. I wouldn't expect a place like this in Myrtle Beach. Pleasant surprise and will definitely eat here again.

First let me give the good. Cute concept for the location. Such I is always wonderful and especially in the beach. The fried chicken roll is my favorite. It's topped with mac n cheese. And the drinks are very delicious when not using the liquid nitrogen. Now the problem comes from the wait. I've been here twice and the food is usually longer in time coming out which for it to be the slow season shouldn't take so long. The sushi menu is vastly limited but the prices I have had are good. Biggest heads up. Be prepared to wait.

For the price this place can't be beat! This place has it all. Good value, fantastic food, good service and ambiance inside and out. I'm a local and keep coming back. Nothing on the menu is over $13. They have awesome flavorful burgers most of which are named after famous artists. I highly recommend the Art Fries as an appetizer and the Munch Burger...the only one I would avoid is the black bean burger. (It's awful) try a nitrogen drink while you're here. The Bananas Foster one is to die for! Also park across the street. Show your ticket to the waiter and get $5 off your meal!

What an unbelievable place. Get the Omakazi which is the sushi chef surprise. He makes whatever he creates. Burgers were amazing. Finished w liquid nitrogen milk shakes to die for. Anyone familiar w Cowfish, this place is way better. A must go

Great location in myrtle beach and a cool place to go if you want sushi but the others in your party want a full menu. Food is good, but overpriced. The $10 sushi prices seem like a good deal, but the rolls are small. Service is okay.

Delicious food. Best server. Great atmosphere. Family friendly or great for a date. Ocean view, too. Convenient location near the boardwalk. Frozen adult beverages, delicious fries, sushi, and burgers. We had frozen beer and specialty drinks, appetizer fries, and burgers. I had a turkey burger and it did not disappoint. They brand their buns-you'll have to see it. They get an A for presentation in my book. We also had a sushi roll with eel. I'm also a sushi chef so I feel qualified to say theirs passes the taste and presentation test with flying colors. Our server was wonderful, polite, and very knowledgeable about the menu .. he was an Asian gentleman, his name escapes me but I hope he gets kudos and enjoys the tip we left today! There's fine art on the screens and various types of art for sale on the walls. There's an artist on site, too. Restrooms are clean and nice. I couldn't find anything to complain about. Go here!

Excited to try the new hot spot in town. Busy for a Wednesday in February. Service was quick and friendly- they were out of salmon for sushi- no big deal we ordered a different roll. Ordered the tuna burger it came out medium well- and I asked for it medium rare. Also ordered the lamb burger which was very dry. For dessert, my date had the vanilla ice cream, made with the liquid nitrogen. It was unique but I would have been happier with a scoop of breyers- it was more like vanilla ice, very little cream flavor or texture. Really nothing to write home about

I would like to mention that the one star is for the worst sushi I have ever had. I tend to eat sushi alot so believe me its just as bad as it looks in the pics. But.... i was with three others who ordered burgers and said it was amazing and the did look really good so I'm still debating on putting my sushi to side and ordering one. The forzen drink was cool and pretty good.

Place has a decent menu and concept...wait staff was great and attentive. Sushi was ok..tried the Carolina roll. Ok maybe I'm a little spoiled since Cowfish sushi is the original concept in raleigh/Charlotte that I'm judging by but it was decent but not rolled very well. Hubby had Bond roll which he loved..wonder where the wasabi was cause it wasn't on the plate. The firecracker shrimp wasn't spicy so disappointed in that. All in all it was ok and loved the atmosphere and the vibe

For sure the best food we had Myrtle Beach! So refreshing. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Super friendly staff. Kids loved their burger and fries. They use farm raised, local beef. Prices are totally reasonable. Nitrogen upgrade on drinks is awesome! Definitely check this place out! Myrtle Beach should be thankful they are here

If u are looking for a hip place to get some grade A sushi and spirits, I would definatly reccomend you go here. I have never had the burgers, because I cant get enough of the sushi. This is a very narrow restaraunt with very limited seating. However if u can get a table it is well worth the trip. Their frozen cocktail are a fun experience. P.s. prepare to pay for parking and its located in a less glamorous part of the strip.

Easily fell for everything they had to offer... Sushi (yes) , drinks mixed with liquid nitrogen (hell yes) , burger (umm yes)! Everything was great and definitely unique. The only thing that wasn't for me was the Mac and cheese.

Amazing food and great service! We tried both their burgers and sushi and both were absolutely delicious! Burgers were big and juicy and they had different fun options to choose from. You definitely get great value for your money considering that the place is really not that expensive, but it feels and looks more on a fancier side. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

My family and I loved this restaurant. It satisfied all of us, ages 1-55. They have menu options for non-sushi lovers as well. My family members that had burgers said they were excellent. The fries were very tasty as well. I loved my beach roll and kale slaw. I also got a liquid nitrogen cocktail. It was very good as well, and it was served in a bowl and is the consistency of sherbet. This is a very cool place. The service was excellent as well. You also have a view of the ocean. It's very clean as well, and lots of really cool art on display.

I'm on a family vacation and we stopped here for dinner! And let me tell you guys this is the BEST restaurant EVER! I have never had a burger sooooo good! You must try the fried chicken roll. I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife got sushi and The onion rings where the best I've ever had. The restaurant was a little small, and hot. So we dined on the back deck. Best food ever.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!! Been here several times it's my favorite, can't you tell? My favorite is the Munch burger and I always get asparagus instead of fries, without an additional fee. What restaurant does that?? Another favorite is the Michaelangelo, so amazingly tasty! The nitrogen drinks are like no other, a must have! You just can't pass this place up and to all the people that gave it a bad rating, I honestly think it was you!

I'll definitely be back here. We started with the Art Fries which are way messier than they sound but utterly worth it. My Spicy Tuna Maki roll was well executed and my burger was cooked flawlessly. The atmosphere is a mixed bag. I like the techno and the constantly shifting Art on the monitors. The uniforms the employees have to wear have been noted elsewhere. The open kitchen (which I appreciate) keeps the place overly warm.

This place was scrumptious!! The sweet potato fries with blue cheese was unbelievable. My lactose-intolerant 12/year old who normally hates sweet potatoes couldnt stop scarfing them down.

You have to try one of the nitrogen cocktails. Feels like you are having your dessert first. We ordered the shrimp tempera roll, a cheeseburger, fries and the roasted corn. The fries were just ok to me, but the rest of the food was de-lish. The service was slow for food and drinks around 6:30p as the place was full. The AC was broken so we opted to sit on the deck. It is very cramped and you feel like you are sitting on top of one another. I would definitely go back and try some other items on the menu.

OMG the absolute best sushi! I'm dying to go here again. It has such a good vibe and service and did I mention the sushi ;) 100% recommend!

Love this place. Excellent burgers, can't wait to try the sushi. Be prepared for a wait, especially during the spring/summer season, it's a small place. We were told it would be about 45 mins for a party of two but thankfully it was only a few minutes.

I think I died and went to HEAVEN!! These drinks are second to none! And the service? FANTASTIC! I don't rate on here a lot, but this place definitely deserves a mention! Try the "Banana Foster" wow :)

Since we're at the beach off season most of the restaurants are closed. We were so lucky to find this place the nitrogen frozen drinks are to die for or at least to get drunk for haha. The specialty rolls and the burgers are some of the best I've ever had. Our waiter's name was Steven and he rocked

I'm a sushi lover, & the rolls here were some of the best I've ever had! Modern hipster-ish, friendly atmosphere, good service, outdoor beach view seating available, local restaurant. Great Riesling too. Will definitely be coming back!

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants. I don't give 5 stars often but this place is just great! Interesting menu items that mix 2 of my favorites - burgers and sushi. To top it off get a frozen drink. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing! Had the tuna lollipops and chefs special roll to start and both so fresh and seasoned perfectly. Couldn't leave without trying a burger so we got the Rembrandt burger cooked in duck fat with fresh thyme, mushrooms and mustard. Wow! Beyond fresh and flavors are amazing. Highly recommended

Really good food. Had a tuna burger. Cooked perfectly. The fries were seasoned well. The appetizers were shareable. The sushi is fresh. The service is friendly.

Great find in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Unique menu, combination of Asian influence and Traditional American. Sushi is excellent, salmon, tuna, and yellow tail cut fresh daily. Best customer service I've experienced in Myrtle. Try the Lemongrass Martini and Asian Bloody Mary, yummy! This restaurant is a must try!

Came in for dinner last night with 3 of my girlfriends for happy hour. We sat at the bar and was served by Courtney, she was so friendly and informative of everything that the menu offered. We had an awesome red wine called Freakshow that we had never even heard of before walking in the door. It instantly is one of our new favorites! In addition to that we got $4 sushi rolls and $1 nigri, all tasted fresh and looked beautiful! For dinner we got 3 burgers, the caravaggio with lamb, the rockwell all american and the monet. The burgers were piled high with toppings and our fries were perfection! Our new fav place for girls night, we will be back!!

We heard about Art through another local bar. They said they prepared the drinks through a frozen cocktail. When we got there the bartender knew exactly what we were talking about and gave us some tips. The drinks were awesome!!!! We did not eat there but will be going back just for the drinks.

Ocean Boulevard tends to be a really seedy place during tourists season but since it is still winter, the strip is dead. This place has no parking lot so be sure to have five bucks handy to park. This fee gets reimbursed with your meal so it's no big deal. The restaurant though narrow and a little cramped has a cool trendy vibe about it. It houses works by local artists and the decor is modern with cool multicolored LED light fixtures. On to the actual experience; we were greeted and told the wait would be 15 minutes to leave our name and number and go sit at the bar. We sat at the bar for 45 minutes before we had to ask why tables had cleared and others had been seated before us. Turns out the hostess had written our number down wrong and they had tried to call multiple times. We finally got seated (no harm, no foul). My wife did have a drink at the bar called Piece of Art which she thought was delicious! The place was super busy! After being seated we were served promptly. We ordered sweet potato fries to start. They are coated in blue cheese sauce, blue cheese crumbles, scallions, red onions and tomatoes. They were quite delicious and tasted fresh. For dinner we shared a philly roll, a whistler mother roll and a big wave roll. All were pretty good for the price, not the best I've ever had sushi wise but absolutely nothing to scoff at. Next time we come here I will probably try one of the burgers, which smell delicious and look like works of art in themselves. Staff was friendly and attentive and our server Jackie was great. Would definitely eat here again. Hope to see one of these pop up on the south end soon.

The burgers are AMAZING!! A friend and I stopped by for lunch this afternoon and shared a Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll, and then I ordered the Munch Burger and my friend ordered the Picasso. The sushi roll was really good but the burgers definitely stole the show. They use local South Carolina grass fed beef and the flavor is incredible. The Munch Burger has pork belly, cheddar, dijon mustard, is topped with a a fried egg and was served with house made fries (they have an option for kale salad that sounded yummy - but if I am splurging, I like to go all out). The chef prepared the burger to the perfect medium temp. It's been a long time since I have experienced a burger that juicy and tasty. I did not try my friend's burger, but he was raving as well. Locals definitely stop in; its worth a trip to the boulevard!

Most amazing burgers and nitrogen bar. Locals you need to give it a try before the tourists over take this business this summer. This place is a winner. American and traditional sushi is a must try

So the place looks awesome inside and the lighting and music are just right. The specialty drinks are very good with or without freezing then in liquid nitrogen. The food took a bit too long and my burger was not how I ordered it, BUT the owners were there and apologized and we're working hard for everyone there. Even though my burger was overcooked the duck confit and fresh rosemary and fresh mushrooms made it fantastic. I'll be back. Frozen White Russian is the way to go for dessert!

Went here on vacation for the first time and loved it! Staff was very friendly and accommodating; we had a great server, and the sushi chef came by our table twice to see how we liked everything. The food was good and portions were plentiful. The restaurant had a very cool atmosphere, there was art for sale all over the wall. The prices were also pretty good as well. Will definitely be back!

This place was phenomenal, we had the loaded fries, pulled pork sushi roll, and one of the drinks made with liquid nitrogen. The food was fresh and delicious, by far the best food we had on our weekend trip

Ate here today for lunch. I ordered a blue crush nitrous drink, which was more like a delicious sorbet of some sort. We also had a nitrous yuengling which was interesting. We had a bond roll and loaded fries. Both were good. Our server was great! Would visit again.

Have been there a few times and it's decent. However after waiting for a while because the host sat parties of two at all the four tops while there were multiple two top tables available and hearing awful extremely loud teenage pop music torturing my eardrums we left and decided to go somewhere else. Also the nitrous drinks are a waste of money it turns your cocktail into ice cream. This isn't what I expected. I was expecting a "nitrotini" like I've had before at Grill 225 which is just an extremely cold martini that fogs for a few minutes and then you drink it.

I created a yelp just to review art bar! We went here twice while on vacation. The service was fantastic and family friendly. The art house fries are a must!! My family loved the sushi and I was thrilled with the other amazing options. Yummmmm!! Thanks art bar for the great experience!!

Humus and first cracker shrimp apps were the best part of this restaurant. Service was sub par. I had the Michael Angelo chicken sandwich which was dry. I tasted my friends burger and the meat was bland. We also had sushi which was good but nothing over the top. Its just an average place.

Being a bartender for over 22 years I have earned the right to be a fair and hard critic of any bartender I come in contact with. If I owned a business my bartenders would be taught ( cause most don't have a clue) how to develop regulars coming in week after week. That means more money for the the owner as well as the bartenders. Down here in Myrtle Beach most bartenders don't have that ability. I had allot of regulars and knew their names. New people I got their names as well just to be more personable. I encouraged sales and was able to describe the food, beer and popular drinks to boost sales. Rule# 1 acknowledge your guest within 30 seconds in someway shape or form of them sitting down. Today took 2 mins, I timed it. No apology for taking too long, another mistake. Didn't suggest anything in the menu. Finally put menu down signaling to the bartender that I'm ready to order. 4 mins later she asked if I was ready. By the way, this is a maybe 10 seat bar and she was more interested in the 5 guys sitting next to me. A good bartender has control over their bar regardless. My sushi sat up on the counter for about 2 mins, I wasn't sure if it was mine but then the sushi chef who was two feet from me asked me if that was mine probably cause he heard me order. I then had to ask him for utensils and soy sauce cause Tony/Toni ( only know here name cause I over heard her tell another guest) failed to do her job efficiently. As an owner I would have fired this girl as an example of how not to bartend. As an owner I want repeat guests especially at this bar which boasted that they want to cater to the locals in the winter. Well, if we're the bread and butter that keeps you open in the winter wouldn't you want to know your customers name, favorite drink, food they order? Nothing is better than when you go out and pay $11 for a burger that the owner, managers and bartenders care and want you to come back? I've been there 7 times and no one ha asked my name. I should open a restaurant consulting business here In Myrtle Beach. Not sure if I'll be back.

Sushi was absolutely awesome. I highly recommend the tuna lollipop appetizer. Burgers full of flavor. Unfortunately I ate all of the food before I can take pictures. Had a chance to meet the husband and wife that own the restaurant, great local couple.

I had my first trip to Myrtle Beach earlier this month and I am so glad we found Art Burger! Didn't have a chance to try the food but their drinks were amazing! I have never had a cocktail made with liquid nitrogen and after going to Art Burger I'm disappointed no bars near home offer this! The staff was great and the owners were very involved. It's great to see places with owners who truly care about their customers and product. Hopefully we'll get back down there soon!

I enjoyed the food and drinks here and would definitely come again with one caveat. That is to avoid the busy dinner rush. Our food came out great, but not speedy. It took a little longer than I expected for a burger but the food was good so I brushed this off. I know good food isn't fast food. The main issue everyone in my group had was the time of the dessert. The waitress told us about the fresh ice cream they have and we ordered 2 for the table. It took about 30 minutes for them to make these 2 desserts. This is completely unacceptable. Several people in our party had to leave and it wasn't until we made a remark they we are leaving did we even saw them start making the ice cream... So come eat the burger, but avoid the ice cream if it's even remotely busy.

Stopped in after reading great reviews and we absolutely weren't disappointed. Super friendly and attentive staff and the food was fantastic, we had both sushi and burgers and they were equally great. The liquid nitrogen drinks are killer! As locals we tend to find a few places we like and make them regular stops...ART will definitely be added into our regular rotation!

Really cool atmosphere. Something new and different here at the beach. This place has quite possibly one of the best burgers I'd ever tasted. Rolls were all unique and extremely tasty. Plates were all very well presented. Great music selections, cool art, interesting lighting and a friendly staff made for a great experience.

Fabulous!! Loved the sushi! We had a couple different rolls that were made fresh while we watched! The drinks were delicious! Be sure to have a specialty cocktail made frozen with liquid Nitrogen! Great atmosphere, friendly staff! Ask Cheech - the sushi chef -to make a special creation for you! You won't be disappointed!!!

Neat place, but felt a bit rushed by the wait staff. We had the Art House Fries for our appetizer, which I would recommend. For my entree I had the Munch Burger with kale slaw. The burger was pretty good but the kale salad had very little kale and was basically your typical side salad. I was pretty disappointed with my first nitrogen drink experience, it was basically just a slushy.

This is an awesome new restaurant in Myrtle Beach. I'm local to the area so any restaurant on the Boulevard is not usually my first choice. Glad I stopped here and had lunch. I had the Wave Roll and Caesar salad both of which were awesome. I'm picky about sushi and this roll was one of the best I've had in Myrtle Beach. The Caesar salad was traditional with a twist adding bacon and tomatoes which made it even better. They had a good selection of wine (which is rare for sushi places) liquor beer sake and cocktails. They even make frozen drinks with liquid nitrogen. The service was attentive and good. The manager and I think the owner (but I'm not sure) checked on how I was enjoying my experience from the time I sat down until the time I stepped out of the front door. Even the sushi chefs (whom don't look like they would be good sushi chefs but I was informed that they brought in a chef directly from Japan to train the other chefs and I was pleasantly surprised by their skills!) asked how everything was. Cleanliness was great, portions were perfect, prices were definitely reasonable, and they stay open late (1am!) with a full menu to accommodate service industry employees. From the local artist display in the front to the excellent food to the attentive staff I see this becoming a regular stop of mine. I'll be back soon to try one of their nitrogen frozen drinks!

Delicious and on point in so many areas is the first thing that comes to mind. After hearing about art from another server we came by to check it out for a drink. The nitrogen going off was very unique, and the food looked great. Our bartender Christian (eagles fan so bonus points) talked about how great the food was so the next day we decided to come in. We were greatly rewarded. The sushi is the best & have had and is priced better than any place in myrtle beach. We had a roll of crab and one with fried chicken. Fried chicken was out of this world. The cuts of fish are also perfect. We were hooked. We came back Sunday for the eagles game and had a blast. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at art and would gladly come back each trip. The owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and let us try new items being tested, which are also delicious. The staff is friendly, especially Christin/Courtney who work behind the bar. No disrespect to the other poster who had a bad experience but we were greeted with kindness each day we came back.. so can't really see why you had a bad time. 100 percent recommend. We will be repeat customers.
